PiP MM Ruling
Good evening all. So earlier this week I contacted PIP regarding an unrelated matter but whilst on the phone I enquired as to whether or not I needed to “apply” for a review of my 2019 claim following the High Court ruling (up to now I have just been waiting to for PIP to contact me).
I was put through to the ‘change in law department’. He went through a few admin questions with me and marked my case for review within the next 15 weeks. He said he would recommend that anyone who thinks they are affected call to initiate a review. Shortly afterward I received a text message confirming my case was being reviewed. He was extremely friendly and really helpful.
I know there is a lot on here already about this and so I apologise if this information has already been posted but just thought for anyone waiting it might be worth a call 👍.

Ah thanks for sharing @Gedboy99 it's always nice to hear about some positive interactions with the DWP. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the review goes in your favour. 😊

so my mandatory reconsideration as come back and they have not changed the decision. However the reasons given are the usual inconsistency and half truths and so the appeal process has started.

Sorry to hear that @Gedboy99. Wishing you all the best with your appeal, please let us know if you have any questions about the process at all.
