PIP assessment observed

hello, I had a PIP assessment on Tuesday. There was a “observer” in on the call as well as the Assesor. I was just wondering if anyone else had had this I was so nervous I didn’t ask any questions. Is it just like an audit/training thing ? Just wondering if it is a common occurrence or not? Thank you

    Hi,

    I had this at a face to face assessment a few years ago. I don't think it's common but definitely does happen.

    It is just as you said, they are either checking the assessor or training to be one. It shouldn't make any difference to your assessment points score.

    Hi @mama101, I've not heard many stories of this but I know it does happen. It's unlikely that it's anything you've done wrong and it shouldn't go against your case at all.

    As OverlyAnxious said, sometimes someone else will be there to watch how the assessors do their jobs, or as you say it could be that someone was in training and was being watched for that reason.
