Hi, my name is Mike_4777! UC biographical appointment
My name is Michael and my bedbound partner is Nicole. We are both 60yo (and feel it)
I have several disables, bowel disease, lung disease emphysema (recently had cancer CT) liver disease and suspected cancer of my oesophagus (recently carried out) Nicole's conditions are too complex to note.
Nicole's got a Universal Credit biographical phone appointment next Friday 29th November 24. What should she expect to happen? She's incredibly stressed about this and serves only to exacerbate her conditions and mine as well as being disabled I'm her only carer.

It's an appointment to confirm her ID and they will ask questions that only she will know the answer to. Such as who she banks with, date of birth etc etc.

Hi @mike_6777 and welcome to the community. As poppy has already said, it will just be to check her ID so nothing to worry about, although I know any appointment with Universal Credit is always worrying! I hope that helps ease your minds.
As you both have disabilities do you both feel you receive the care you need? Do you have mental health support?
