Neglecte and discrimination! Under supported sheltered housing!

I've escaped from domestic abuse and was in a refuge, but was far from my children, so I've ended up in a homeless drug and alcohol shelter, emerging futures. I have severe mental health issues, and disabilities that I try hide. Ive asked for help as I'm suicidal and not coping. I forget my medication or what I've taken, I don't leave my room and I try to get told to go away. It's supported living, I have support worker and staff here all day. I've asked for support and they send me to doctors alone. I'm writing this as my heads spinning, as I'm feel so unwanted and don't know where to go. I've been offered a house via and detox via emerging futures, I've so confused what to do to. I asked if I could do both and was told bluntly no, take the house you won't get that area again ( near my children) I know I'm not safe to alone, but I can't rely on anyone. These are supposed to my support, im so lost and not eating or drinking. I have this energy to ask for help now, as tomorrow I won't care again. I can't talk to anyone here get told to go away, And I need to for me and my kids.. any help would be much appreciated, sorry I talk to much.is thsi public or private,

This is a public forum, so if your username is your real name, it might be a good idea to change it.

Would it be possible to accept the house to improve your location, and then submit a request to social services in the area for support? I apologise if this is something you have already considered. These things are not my specialty, but your post made me really emotional and it is the only suggestion I can think of to help.

Thank you, I will look into my usernamechange. I wasn't sure what I was doing..

I myself am scared of how my mental heath changes so dramatically, and feel I need the help before I go to try live alone. Ive been trying to get help q very long time, but my mental health takes over and I've missed 3 days out jy life, forgotten to take medication. Or worse I can't remember if I have so take them in case. I don't think I'm stable enough to live alone, infact I know I'm.not...

I'm so sorry to hear you've not been getting the support you need. How you've been made to have this awful choice between the house and getting help from Emerging Futures but unable to have both. You should have a place to live and get the help you need.

Mind have some great crisis resources for mental health help. Samaritans also have a 24 hours, 365 days a year support line, just call 116 123, they always have people on the phones there to listen and talk with you through difficult times.

If you prefer to not talk over the phone you can text SHOUT to 85258. It's a 24/7 text service that provides the same sort of listening and talking service as the Samaritan helpline.

Jimm I've not received email also, I've once again asked for help and received nothing off them. I pay £450 to live here, then have to pay CASH only for water and council tax and month for a bedroom. £20 water £25 council tax. Then they sell use electricity cards and have to top the gas meter up. It's so expensive and receive no help.

Housing benefit pays the rent but no help for the other things, asked for a new mop and brush got told that my duty. Im lost to what help I get here knowing how much I pay.
