Hello,
Please could I ask a quick question of one of your experts? I have just found out today that I've been awarded LCWRA which I'm very relieved about. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I will get the extra amount of payment in time for Christmas? I submitted my first fit note on 23rd of July 2024 and normally get paid on the 11th of the month so my next payment will be 11th Dec. Will it be in then or will it be the New Year?

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in.
Assuming there were no breaks in your Fit Notes:
July/August: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
August/September: AP 1
September/October: AP2
October/November: AP 3
November/December: Eligible for LCWRA element.
December 11th: First LCWRA element paid.
