Good morning @lucylucy. The letters are carefully worded because not everyone will receive extra, for example if there is already someone on the claim receiving LCWRA.
As this isn't the case for you, (you've said your husband is receiving the carer element), you should have the LCWRA element added to your award, which is currently an additional £416.19 a month. Do you recall when your first fit note was submitted to Universal Credit?

Hi @lucylucy. You can have one person claim carer element and another claims LCWRA on the same claim, so you should be entitled to the payment. It's 3 full assessment periods, and then receiving the payment at the end of the 4th, so depending on your UC payment dates it may be a little while before you see it on your statement but you should be entitled to it.

What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?
What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Does your UC include any Transitional Protection?

Ah, thank you @poppy123456, I had forgotten about transitional protection and will keep that in mind from now.
@lucylucy, when LCWRA is added to your statements, your transitional protection (TP) will be lowered by the amount of LCWRA. If your TP is less than the LCWRA amount (£416.19) then your overall award should increase by the difference.
