Parking fines, money you owe and credit files are irrelevant. What is your current housing situation?

    So there irrelevant

even tho you need good credit to get a property these days

Money dose help but not when u owe money out!!

So out of the 13 documents
three in ur opinion is irrelevant!

What about the other 10 documents?

Will that now make me priority?

I have to move out of family home we clash too much!

Let’s add to the list take up to 12

    I’m born here

    Paid 23 years N & Tax

Only now I need some help

[Removed by moderator - please keep in mind our house rules]

I got a lot of money coming to me next year from a eye injury at work

    But that irrelevant right now

the question is what more do I need

I Case is in review now to be fair I got a lot more evidence now

So I believe I will get it..

Unfortunately social housing is a scarce resource everywhere alongside very high demand, with particularly acute shortages in places like London.

What reason for refusal were you given?

Good luck with your appeal, if accepted onto the waiting list expect to be waiting a while for somewhere permanent.

After you've been evicted you will be placed into temporary accommodation, which might be a bed & breakfast etc.

Shelter would be a good organisation to talk to for advice.

    Support nurse referral

    the Pip enhance

Here the letter one reason was because I can communicate in English with no issues 🤷‍♂️

To be a priority you would need to be seen as vulnerable.

What they are saying is that you would still be able to manage daily life and access the health services you currently do with no fixed abode. You are not considered more vulnerable than an average person.

Sadly there isn't enough social housing anywhere, and they do have to be very strict to make sure that the most vulnerable people get protected, but sadly that means there are many in difficult situations who they can't house.

Is there any chance you could rent privately? Do you currently get Universal Credit or just PIP?

    Hello @Cruzfaith

I have edited a portion of your post as it used uncivil language towards other benefit claimants. While we understand it can be difficult to adjust to being disabled or needing social housing, we don't tolerate terms like these used against other people.

I'm sorry you're having difficulty accessing suitable housing. I noticed in the letter you shared they mention that you've told them you're not disabled and do not consider yourself disabled, and that you do not rely on anyone to assist you with daily living tasks. Given your enhanced PIP award for Daily Living this could be an easy area for you to challenge.

When asking them to review their decision I would suggest reading through their allocation policy in detail as it should give you and indication as to who is considered priority and whether you match that criteria.

to be honest Im not bother about the social housing.
i need the help getting accepted

Don’t matter if got 20k in the bank got 4 ccjs and Cifa 6 on my credit report the ccj are for minor like £150 think the highest is £280

Buy still it massively against me I got a Cifa 6 against me because Santander account in which you can’t pay with you can’t do anything except for withdraw money

Too much money went through my bank so they close my account and give me Cifa 6.. close my account with 800 quid in which I held for 30 weeks craziness

And from that I can’t get no major banks it’s a right old mess…

Week they have to the 8th or 18th and I find out there awnser…

Sorry, I'm not sure what you need to be accepted for if not housing?

If it's benefits you need then those are done through DWP, not the council. Do you have any income at the moment? Do you still have more than £16k in savings, even if you can't access it?

Iv Allways work 23 years full tax paid only since September

I was stop due to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder

The medication stop me from my job witch is crane supervisor with that job I take home after tax 5 days work £920 a week

now I only get pip enhanced £737

And esa £181 a week because I paid national insurance

In witch I think is wrong you pay ur national insurance clam esa
in witch it stops any universal credit payments.

but if you do work or paid taxes you can clam universal credit crazy should be able to get both as u paid tax’s

getting back to the topic in hand it’s not about the benefits to clam

It about being accepted from the landlord who will do a credit check and see I have ccjs and Cifa 6 on my report so I won’t pass

this why i need help with the council to back me to help me get into a property

it not really about the money it’s about getting accepted for a place

The council won't help you rent from a private landlord. They don't have the resources to do that.

You are right that you're unlikely to pass a credit reference. Even for those of us on benefits without any credit issues it's incredibly difficult to find a private landlord who will accept us. I've been going through this for 5 years now.
