Hi there guys,thankyou for welcoming me ,I'm 50 from Bournemouth, I really need advice ,my father who is a British citizen but is from jamaica when he was young , he divorced late in life , ought a house in Bristol, bit because of his mental health he one day decided to go back to jamaica ,so he sold house in Bristol, bought a house out there , but he never visited it for a long time as the sitting tenant refused to leave ,when he eventually flew out,he found she had ripped out the bathroom and part of kitchen, but my dad is 71 ,he went out at first he was sleeping on the floor he bought a small bed and a fridge and tv and had it in his head he was going to do it up, fast forward ,he come back over and then his health was not good ,his legs and knees ect all the while saying he's going back , but he still hadn't returned after a year or so ,now he was rushed into hospital as he was found collapsed ,we have been told he has heart failure, he has no where in uk of his own ,he lives in a room in Bristol in a 3 story house , looking after it for a friend,but it's so cold ,my question is would he be eligible for housing on medical grounds ,as he is a British citizen ,but the house in jamaica he can prove he has no income from it,also he can't live in it ,as it has too much repair to do, but his health can't get him.over there to sort it , do I co tact adult services , as he has no where ,he's currently in hospital and had to have a pacemaker fitted but has a long road ahead of him .. but his housing is causing me anxiety
