I had call from my doctors surgery a couple of weeks ago saying a doctor would ring me on the 29 November which was yesterday and he said he wants to see me on the 10th December basically cos I have been offered ing by repeat prescription too many Diazepam which like I said to him on phone I tack only when needed like appointment or anything out of my comfort zone. I suffer with social Anxiety and depression which I tack VENLAFAXINE on a dairy basis. But now I am really worried about the appointment on the 10th could not sleep last night for worried.

Hey @Greentench It's quite normal for GPs to do medication check ups every once in a while, just to check if they're working ok and to see if they can think of other ways of tackling the issues you're facing.

I took my beta blookers as advised by the doctor instead of diazepam but they didn't really do much at all I just didn't feel anything. I think I am to used to the diazepam?

Hi @Greentench That's not ideal! It might be worth contacting your doctors to raise this with them. They might have some additional information or may choose to make a change if you're not finding the new medication is doing what you need it to.

Please keep in touch and let us know how things are. 😊

    All the best,

    Holly.
