PIP REVIEW - How long did you wait? How were you told?
Hi all,
I recently had my first pip review forms sent and they’ve been completed and sent back, I received a text to say they’d received it a few weeks ago. As it’s my first review, I’m not sure how the procedure goes. If they plan to continue it, do they always let you know, or is it possible they don’t say anything at all and it just carries on for another length of award?. I’d be interested to hear who after giving their review forms back heard back quite soon after and how were you told? It’s causing me so much stress. Thanks.

They’re really behind on PIP reviews so expect a long wait. I returned my forms at the beginning of March and my review still hasn’t been done. After the initial ‘we’ve received your form’ text I’ve had ‘we still have your form’ texts about every 12 weeks.
They will tell you when your review is complete and the outcome by letter1 -
There is a very large backlog of PIP reviews. I know a number of people who have completed and returned their PIP reviews earlier this year and after having receiving a series of texts have received a letter extending their existing award for a further year.

Hi
I filled the review forms in in March and sent them back. Got a text in June and September saying they had the forms and it was under review. Just received a letter saying award extended for 12 months whilst still under review. I know that their is a huge backlog so your guess is as good as mine.
