Hi ….very confused. I had a universal credit work assessment. I have a copy of the medical report which states I meet the criteria for LCWRA. However my award letter only states I’ve been awarded LCW. Why have universal credit decision makers gone against what the medical assessment says ? Has anyone else experienced this and is there any thing I can do apart from a mandatory reconsideration and is this right ? Any advice would be gratefully welcomed.

The DM usually goes with the assessment recommendation, but not always.
It could be just an admin error.
The MR would be the next step to have it looked at again properly.

the exact wording is this….the client was found to meet the criteria for LCWRA.

it took so much out of me to do the assessment and then for UC to not acknowledge what the medical report said has sent my anxiety through the roof again. What exactly was the actual point in me going through it if they aren’t going to do as is reported.
