Should we expect a WCA review soon ?
Are they sending the forms through the post for WCA reviews at the moment? If you should have a WCA review every 3 years has this been postponed whilst they do Managed Migration?

Reviews are not every 3 years, sometimes they are much longer than that and in normal times they can be much sooner.
They are not suspended because of managed migration. They are or were for the majority of people with LCWRA/Support Group been suspended since 2020. Very few people have been reviewed in all that time.
As you're claiming UC when it's time for your review you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you they were referring you. A few days later you'll receive the UC50 form in the post.
LCWRA is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.

This information sourced from BenefitsandWork News show that 16,000 ESA reviews were completed in the months from March to May this year. So it looks as if it's all change.
- The suspension of face-to-face assessments in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic adversely impacted DWP’s ability to complete assessments.
- Face-to-face assessments were resumed in May 2021.
- Department-led repeat assessment referrals which were paused during the COVID-19 pandemic resumed, initially on a randomised referral basis, in May 2023.
- In the latest quarter to June 2024 there were 36,000 completed assessments recorded, a 4% decrease when compared to the previous quarter (to March 2024).
- Of the total number of ESA WCAs completed in the quarter to June 2024, 57% were initial WCAs (21,000) and 43% were repeats (16,000).

Reviews for ESA and UC have mostly been for those in the work group and LCW (UC). Support Group and LCWRA have mostly been suspended.
