RICH: RIght and CHoices for expectant mothers living with CP

In January 2024 Scope and the University of Nottingham collaborated to find out about the reproductive choices and experiences of women with cerebral palsy during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
These are the FINAL resources we developed as part of the NIHR RICH project around the provision and experiences of maternity care for women with cerebral palsy (CP). The resources are for medical professionals and women themselves. They consist of infographics and an animated short film.

I've just read the research outcomes. As a woman with hemiplegia, I chose not to have a baby, through fear and concerns.
This information will definitely give women an insight into the support they are entitled to, and empower them in their decisions before during and after pregnancy.
