There is a section about what to send - like a medical history, reports, care plans and so . What happens if I dont share any ? WHat happens I failed to receive therapies since I cannot monitor and manage my health. I have a child with rare condition and since second day of his birth he had so many surgeries. I am heavily despressed and lost my sense of life. I dont recieve any therapies as no point . i feel hopeless

Now what to do??

section 2 - health condition and when it started

section 3 how does your healt affects you?

  • if it is not for my partmer I would not survice
  • lost weigt
  • feeling quite isolated barely have any people with me sicne I am angry and irritable all the time.

I suffer from depression, and on medication - even stopped taking this

You need to fill out the form as if it’s a new claim and give as much relevant information as possible.

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t had any therapy or other appointments since your last assessment. Many people continue to receive PIP and have no treatment.

Not everyone has medical evidence to send either. If there’s someone that knows you well you can ask them to write a supporting letter but make sure it’s related to the PIP descriptors.

You can also write a diary. Please also include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

There’s also a guide here that may help. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/pip-changes-and-reviews/help-with-your-pip-review-form/

If you need extra time to return the form you ask ring to ask and they will give an extra couple of weeks.

Letters from a GP are never the best to send anyway. This is because a GP will very rarely know exactly how your conditions affect you. If they know it’s because you’ve told them. They don’t spend enough of time with you to know how you manage the activities based on the PIP descriptors.
