Cmht lying
hi all,
After some advice please, my cmht made my mental health worse so in April I put in a complaint and asked to be transferred, the response to complaint was apologising but not transferring me
As my mh became worse my gp referred me back to the same mht even though I didn’t want to be, I’ve heard nothing from them, however, this morning i rang my gp to ask for a referral and he told me the cmht team had contacted me but they haven’t
What can I do regarding them lying
Thanks

Hi @apples, I'm really sorry you're struggling to get the care you need. It's so frustrating that they've lied about contacting you.
If they're still messing you about I wonder whether there's a way of sending an additional complaint in and trying to get it seen by someone higher up. Where did you make your original complaint to?
It's disappointing that your GP referred you to the same team too, do they have the ability to refer you to a different team or is this the only one in your area?
I hope you can find a way forward soon.

hi @Rosie_Scope
My original complaint was done on my behalf by an advocate I think it was sent to the complaints team at the cmht
As to being referred elsewhere i keep being told that as this is in my catchment area this is my cmht and I may not be accepted elsewhere, but I don’t even think they’ve tried referring me as I haven’t heard otherwise
I do have the phso looking into it but they said they may not take on the complaint as they deal with serious complaints
