hi and welcome to the forum unfortunately I can't advise you on benefits but what I can do is recommend to you to visit the coffee lounge for a general chat or the games den for some fun while you wait for a response

If your ESA is all CB and you don't claim any other legacy benefits such as housing benefit or Tax credits then you will not be migrated across to UC.

If any part of your ESA is Income Related and/or you're claiming one of the old legacy benefits such as Tax credits or Housing benefit then you'll be migrated across. This can be anytime up until end of 2025. Not end of 2024. You will receive a migration letter in the post when the times comes.

    Hi @Carl34341

Welcome to the community and I hope you find it helpful in getting some advice.

@poppy123456 has given you good advice, I just wanted to add the information from the turn2us website, Universal Credit Migration Notice - Migration Notices | Turn2us who explain the process and advises - 'All migration notices are expected to be sent by the end of December 2025'.

Hope this is helpful for you, but please keep reaching out if you need further support.

Yes that's correct, as ESA is a working age benefit.
