I've had multiple injuries over the last two and half years I've provided fit notes to UC , only just got the uc50 form now, side note was in hospital last year for 20 weeks with two broken legs, am I eligible for back date pay for the two years

If the decision is LCWRA and this is your first work capability assessment then you'll be owed money from the 4th assessment period after you provided your first fit note. Providing you continued to provide fit notes the whole time without any gaps and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.

There's a full 3 months assessment period waiting time and the extra money isn't paid at all during that time.

2.5 years is a very long time to be providing fit notes without being referred for a work capability assessment. What's the reason for such a long wait please?

I was on SSP then ESA then just on normal UC I've had multiple injuries over the period, (hernia, 1st broken leg, stabbed 5 times in a attack, broken finger which has turned into a trigger finger, then broken both legs in hospital for 21 weeks for that one, my fit notes are pretty much indefinitely
