Hi,


I just wanted to get an idea from others how long they waited for a decision after this text message.

We have not yet made a decision on your PIP claim.

I had my telephone assessment two weeks ago. So i wasn't expecting this text so quick I thought they would send it nearer the 8 week timeframe.


so I'm wondering if it's a good or bad thing.

    That’s a standard text and doesn’t mean anything other than what it says.

    There’s no timescales from that text, some have a decision quite quickly and others several weeks, sometimes longer. Timescales are up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.

    Hi @KO1, welcome to the community. As Poppy says, unfortunately it's difficult to know how long you'll be waiting after the text. It's not a good or bad thing to receive it as it's quite a standard text.

    Hope you're not waiting too long and you get the result you're hoping for 😊
