Hello and also ESA issue.
Hi everyone.
I Have been claiming ESA for a while now. I've read on news articles that ESA was supposed to be paid early for some people this year (xmas) my payment was due on Christmas day. It wasn't paid early and hasn't been paid since. I'm stressing about it a bit as i'm also nervous about migrating to UC and things. (I haven't received my migration letter but last time I spoke to DWP to change my address they mentioned i would probably get a letter soon) has anyone else had this issue? I am going to call them tomorrow to stop myself from worrying but does anyone think it's more likely a clerical error, busy Christmas or my worst fear for some reason stopped ? I've never really had a late payment before.

As a guess it's probably a simple error. My payment was also due Xmas day and I received mine Xmas Eve and I also claim ESA. They will be able to make a same day payment when you ring them tomorrow.
Migration for those claiming Income Related ESA is anytime between now and end of 2025. The ESA call centre will not be able to tell you when you will receive that letter. Once you do you will have 3 months to claim UC.

Hello everyone,
Turns out it was just a clerical error. My Mother is my appointee and I recently changed adress, for some reason when I informed them of MY change of adress they changed my Mum's instead. All sorted today :)
