hello , I have very recently had a pip assessment over the phone and feel that I have completely messed it up , I work but suffer badly with fibromyalgia and truly have to push my self to complete my shifts which causes chronic fatigue and migraines for which I have prescribed medication . I was asked about dressing my top half and did I find it easier ? I replied yes but did not mention it’s because I don’t wear a bra due to nerve pain that I wear loose easy put on clothing and it’s not unusual for me to keep my pj top on ( manager caught me at work ) once I explained the reason for still having my nightwear on he understood , I was also asked have I gone off sick from work lately again I said No but that’s not true either had to leave my shift because I was unwell with fybro pain and migraine in oct 24 ! I was so bad I couldn’t drive my car , I had to ring my brother to come pick me up and left my car at work , I also asked did I have any adaptations in the home ? I said No but I do ! I have a higher toilet seat which helps due to constant pain I have had the toilet seat a few years now that I don’t even think about it , Brain fog doesn’t help either and when asked did I have any questions or anything to add I said No , I have ruined it now and don’t think I can put my self through that again

It doesn’t mean you’ve ruined everything. I would try not speculate anything right now. Remember that PIP is about the help you need, regardless of whether you receive that help or not. So telling them you don’t have an aid for the toilet isn’t the end of the world.

There’s a lot of people that post here thinking they won’t be awarded and then go on to have an award.

If the worst does happen and you’re refused you can challenge the decision.

Is this a review of an existing claim or a new claim?

Hi @cheesecake765 and welcome to the online forum.

I can see you've had some great feedback from @poppy123456 so I won't add anything at this point. But please keep us updated on your situation if you're comfortable to, and let us know if you need anything. It's a great community with lots of lovely and knowledgeable people. 😊

I hope you don't mind but I've made a slight change to your post title, just to make it easier for other members to see what it's about. They may have some more useful information, or might benefit from the feedback you've received if they're going through something similar.

I'm pleased you've joined the forum and hope you take advantage of the categories such as coffee break where you can have a friendly chat with other members.

    All the best,

    Holly.
