Hi, my name is TashaH71! My pain is unbearable my GP seems disinterested.
Hi
I am new to the group. I am at my wits end. My pain is unbearable my GP seems disinterested. I am on painkillers but nothing seems to help. My knees have started giving way on me to the point I have fallen down the stairs. I can not hold anything in my hands. I am so tired I cry as i feel so alone like no one understands the pain I am in. Not even sure people believe me.
Any Advice would be much appreciated.
Natasha

Hi @TashaH71 Welcome to the Community. I am so sorry your GP seems disinterested. Do you go to a practice where there are other doctors? Perhaps you could see one of them.
If not could you go back and explain to your GP how difficult you are finding things.
Please take care of yourself.

Hi @TashaH71 and welcome to the online community.
I am so sorry to hear about your pain, and experience with your GP. It's heartbreaking to read. No one should have to go through that.
Like @Bluebell21 has suggested, is it possible to raise this with your GP. Perhaps ask to see an alternative Doctor who may offer a more supportive service.
I've also found the below link with some detail on the feedback and complaints procedure for the NHS which I hope is helpful.
NHS England » Feedback and complaints about NHS services
I hope you don't mind but I've made a change to your post title, just to help others on the forum who might have had a similar experience to find. They may have some additional helpful information.
Please keep us updated on how you get on if you're comfortable to. And whilst on this forum, I hope you take advantage of the categories. May I suggest coffee lounge. It's a lovely area if you want to socialise with other members.
Best wishes,
Holly.
