I agree with what Catherine said.

I’d also like to say that I don’t think Catherine was intending to come across heartless or provocative.

what Catherine was trying to make the point of is that he has just lost his brother and it obviously hurts like hell.

Hopefully this will be the wake up call the PM needs to do the right thing and change course. It is not too late to help thousands and thousands of people.

sadly, I do not think the prime minister gives a damn about the public.

All he is interested in is being stubborn and bowing to the unions.

tragic time for the pm to lose a family member over Christmas but his government is ensuring hundreds and thousands of pensioners will die because of the last few months actions.

    pension credit isn’t the answer.

I bet Starmers brother was ashamed by the PM’s decisions.

    rest in peace Mr Starmer.

Sir Starmer, you have work to do!

Sorry to hear about your loss @whistles it's never easy, no matter the time of year, but xmas just makes things hit harder I think. We're all here for you if you need to talk things through. ❤️

If was Jeremy corbin in a heartbeat a man of humanity for the people so someone who said I have a sad life thankyou just because I disagree why that hurt you all acting like I'm shocking horrid person not at all I just don't feel emphatic towards a person of his history and the circle he moves if he can send arms to slaughter thousands no cease fire what you think he cares of us he doesn't value human life's

Only if you pretend the last 14 years of Tory rule didn't happen!!!

Truth is Catherine, if you wanted Jeremy Corbyn to get into power in 2017, you should not have voted Leave in 2016 but you did.

Brexit, the Tories and their supporters have ruined this country not Sir Keir Starmer nor his learning-disabled brother.

Thankyou I'm a great empath I would do and help anyone I never followed politicians last year was the first time I sat and watched the cruelty and utter disregard for the citizens of uk how they laughed and mocked each other like it's a game which it is all driven by egos and money pure greed I always proud and felt lucky to live in this country sunak speech took me down I was terrified then starmer came on the scene was so happy thinking we'd be seen heard helped understood to the realisation he was following the agenda to the T show me the people to mingle with and it shows who you really are comment on here I live a sad life yes I do created by DWP and government why am I going to feel for someone who has the power to do the right thing and doesn't hear elderly people crying on TV how cold this winter been already ?? Lifelong labour supporter he has ruined many people's life whilst being a lawyer representing the most heinous people of society if he can and sunak all the same send lots of money to fund wars genocide and sleep easy at night you don't think we are any different than the people of gaza Do you I was going to apologise but I have noting to apologise for I'm not directly aiming this comment at anyone on this forum at all of course I wouldn't I just can't feel sympathy for such an individual also it's ok to have a debate about this but to be told I have a sad life because twice you don't agree with my opinion just scroll by and also be called selfish if I was selfish I wouldn't care about the people suffering today this moment as I write this ?? This is why people leave someone doesn't agree with the massive and you get closed down made to feel like you shouldn't express something or just follow the crowd no I will never do that I will always speak my truth I wasn't aiming this at anyone but starmer himself and trust me I'm just a drain on society to him

As a barrister there is no choice of who Starmer represented, it was his job - everyone is entitled to a defence in English law
