Uc migration
Hi everyone I was hoping someone may be able to help i claim new style esa support group and partner gets carers allowance we got a letter telling us to migrate which we thought was strange as our benefits are not means tested. We called uc who told me call esa they told me call back to uc it is beyond a joke so we called tge help to claim line and they said now we have the letter mistake or not have to move over so he called uc with us and put claim in they said that's it now we will contact you in 2 days to arrange to come out on home visit. The call never cam what did come 5 minutes after hanging up was 2 tx saying issue with uc call us so again we called to be told some one will call back again no call a week went by and then another text telling my partner he has to go to job centre so off he went when he came back I got a call about I'd so sorted that again told you don't have to do anything now all done then again tx came stating call uc or could cause problem with payment called the. Again and they said they would send an email to someone else to tell them we called heard nothing again and an hour ago another message stating we both have to call UC straight away or could cause issue with money called but they stating not open till mo day even though gov website states open today and tomorrow but tge auto service says call back Monday this is getting g to be a real nightmare. My Question is cause they not taken calls and we don't have online account will it make any difference if we call mo day and is this texting every week normal for so.eone who is excused from work activities

New Style ESA is not part of UC and the same applies to carers allowance. Are you 100% sure that your ESA is New style? Are you claiming any other benefits at all, if so which ones please?
If not then you should not have received a migration letter advising you that you need to claim UC.
The UC helpline should have been open today between 8am and 6pm. Closed on weekends. See link.

We both got migration notice i could not understand why because of tge benefits that we where getting they said normally would not have been moved but we have an element of housing benefit so now notice is recieved have to move but that the new style esa and carers allowance would be deducted from the Uc Nd they would remain in paymnet as is so we did as we where asked and now keep getting texts every week I am in support group and my partner is my full time carer they said that we had done it all and proved who we are it was all done and would only be contacted if need of review this was 4 week ago and every week get tx to call it's getting beyond a joke

Ah, you didn't mention claiming housing benefit in your first comment. The reason you received the migration notice is because you claim this.
Yes, your ESA and carers allowance will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. They should be aware that you're already in the Support Group for ESA so you'll be entitled to the LCWRA element from the start of your claim.
When you made the claim through a phone call did your partner tell them that they are caring for you? Your UC will also include the carers element if they did.
The issue with claiming through a phone call is that you won't have access to an online journal. Journals are much easier to deal with because you don't need to keep ringing them because any messages and letters will be uploaded onto the journal.
Your first UC payment will be about 5 weeks after the date you claimed. Your housing benefit will continue to be paid for 2 weeks and then stop.
The UC helpline in not open on weekends, it's only Monday to Friday (in normal weeks)

Yes we have told them everything but still keep getting tx to call and when we do they just say they will send email to say we have called it's like we are having to check in every week for some unknown reason cause no one calls us back

Is there anyway of doing this online instead of calling all the time i we don't have computer and WiFi is quite bad but easier for partner to walk up street to get signal than keep on like this it makes me feel ill everytime I get one of these.nessages and no one can tell me why when we call

I'm not sure on the process to change from telephone to online but I'd advise you to ask the helpline when you ring them on Monday. Unless someone else here sees this and knows what the process is.

Do you know if it is normal for them to constantly send tx to someone in support group and not give reason I feel like I am a criminal they need to keep tabs on it awful

These messages aren't normal no.
You could try a formal complaint to get this settled once and for all.

It depends on what they want you to ring them for. If this a recent claim for UC they should know you're in the Support Group when you claim but your UC claim still needs to be updated with that information.
As your partner is also claiming carers allowance, they will need to verify that, as well as verifying your liability to pay rent.
Once everything is verified you shouldn't receive texts very often at all.
