In a Nutshell

This a shortened version of a long ongoing problem I need advice from everyone.
I have PTSD ,anxiety, depression. Severe agrophobia (house bound,) fear of innternet and phone and media. I need support for all. I also have a severe eating disorder.
Problem is my only support is from cmht who are all providing this and they are the problem. I can't reach out without support as I can't process info any fears and anxiety and severe cfear of males, self harm and suicidal
. Being not able to do video calls emails or phone calls.
Cmht have severed all these connections I will explain.
2022 January I was under cmht short term. I was eligible under care act and it was decided to do in house With team rather than care package from psychological point of view. So they had a duty of care. Support with shopping taking bin bags out debts eating disorder and all communication. And to build trust within team. As due to trauma from event ptsd all trust is lost in humanity.
2 months after got a section 21 .
So a lot got put on hold but did manage to tackle debts , care coordinator wa. Tacking section 21. I was I. Mh crisis most of time.
Section 21 retracted I was then accepted by long term nhs group 2 year contract all this support being done communication shopping and bin bags meds. Gp ect.
My mind does not work the same conventionally or the way I see the world or psychologically.
I had everything in place to request help to move forward. My support was organised in house as the support was a lady who was a person of trust. A cpn who was there when was in crisis.
I managed to go to a new GP which was massive with herself she called gp arranged when surgery was quiet helped me communicate and transport was arranged by this support with a female driver. .
Prior to this task I had 3 months of psychologist on 2 weekly visits and support. Alternating weekly.
I wanted structure to tackle fears ax I new the day from legacy benefits migration to uc. A big problem for myself with all impairment and fears.
Structure
Care coordinator left week before structure in place. .
A new care coordinator appointed in September this yr, since peer support stopped or any . Doesn't answer my texts refuses the right of communication email. I struggle can't process texts. Tell me blaintantly in meetings I haven't had support or care . Hence I have medical discharge medication and documentation. Also says cmht have never supported with bin bags shopping ect but have 2022 care assessment and new cmht biased very private email set up by team with support about visits shopping and details of this being aided. Email 8s a legal document .
I have had the ambulance out 4 times with suicidal thoughts and taken my bin bags due to trigger of ptsd. They refereed me for social worker assessment. Usually completed in 2 weeks been a month as complexities and local council funding still ongoing.
My care coordinator has never contacted me after the ambulance pulled any support and texted my days prior to texting ambulance service, only response is text message. Call or email samaritans go to A&E or call your gp. Impossible all need supporting with.
What kind of advocate do I need.
Hence scope is something I have psychologically managed to feel safe space and keep this for myself.
I think I need to make a complaint my mh is deteriorated and last ambulance call out was not a suicidal feeling but a thought I planning my esa cats wellbeing and putting things into place.
I will never ask for structure again or trust the nhs cmht.
On 21/12/24 the dwp planted a really unfriendly letter as a present a migration letter. I need all this support to be able to comply.
I need an advocate who has knowledge of laws mental health acts and nhs protocol

hi it seems you are going through a lot right now I would suggest you look at getting a mental health advocate I was looking for one a while ago but by the time the referral went in I didn't need the service anymore.

Hi @charlie79, sorry you've had such a rough experience with CMHT, that does make things really difficult when you're in need of some proper support to get by.
Would you feel able to get in contact with any advocacy services yourself at all or would this be too difficult to cope with at the moment?
There are a few different advocacy places and it'll all depend on where you live and your circumstances. But I'll list a few below that you might like to look into:
POhWER:
There's also VoiceAbility:
And the Advocacy People:
Services (All) | The Advocacy People
Rethink offer advocacy services for mental health:
Some of the eligibility might depend on your circumstances, but I hope at least one of those will be able to help you in some way.
I really hope you can find a way to get the support you need soon 💛
