Hlloall. I'm happy to be a part of this group. It's good finally find a platform where I can share my thoughts and feelings, the unedited version!๐Ÿ˜‚ I love in a care home after becoming disabled whilst Livingstone dream with my partner of 10 years for 7 years! Due to circulatory issues withhold clotting, my right arm was amputated. After learning that I could learn to live with my left rm, I succeed a stroke that completely effected my left side, leaving me incapable of doing even the smallest of tasks. I am able to type using an iPad stylus attached to a strap on the stump of my right hand. This also allows me to attach cutlery and other devices to feed myself. But most importantly and growing more and more urgently, I have yet to finish accessible sex and that I can use with the aid of asistance! I have spoken to the manager of the facility that I reside in and with certain staff members, who believe their is a ethical argument for and against the aid of sex toys for Randy women in my situation. Instead I try to find a man who is willing to have no strings sex with, but so far that avenues really brought the beetles out of the woodwork! Any idea from you guys would be gratefully appreciated or indeed a cello from mid Glamorgan that wouldn't mind giving a girl a good old fashion shafting!!!๐Ÿ˜‚

    Hi @shereen77

It's good to meet you and thanks for posting.

Carehome.co.uk states that; โ€œThe fundamental principles of individual autonomy, choice and consent are established in law and underpinned by the Human Rights Act 1998 and assumptions and stereotypes should be challenged.โ€

It says care homes should have policies that support the rights of all residents by offering environments that celebrate individual rights and choices in sexuality expression and intimate relationships. The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) emphasized that staff training must also deal with issues of intimate relationships and sex.

You have a right to a sex life. The staff cannot use the toys but they should help facilitate you using them.

Here are some hands-free toys that might help. It's an interesting article too
