Hi, my name is CAF! Can I ask at the new appointment for another person?
I had my phone assessment todaybut it was cut short as the woman phone cut off then when she rang back she claimed that she couldn't hear me. I called the office and I will be sent a new date. My concern is that I couldn't understand her and she repeatedly kept talking over me, I was unable to answer her questions. Can I ask at the new appointment for another person?

I would say it's unlikely to be the same person.

Hey there @CAF and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear about your experience with the phone assessment, it does seem to be very much the luck of the draw with how your assessor is.If you get the same assessor, I don't think you'd be able to ask for a new one on the spot, as you were assigned that specific time slot with that specific assessor, but you may be able to ask in advance, but that could delay the assessment whilst they find you a new assessor and timeslot.

So sorry you had that experience. As poppy said, I feel it'd be unlikely to have the same person. I believe you can complain to DWP about it if you feel it's suitable to do so and you were mistreated
