Unable to get help
seems being self employed and most days unable to now do a days work through horrific pain - I had to go back to work through not wanting to loose my clients - so UC closed my claim .. I’m over 60 and worked all my life and some days 3 jobs ! How do I get through my work days topped up on Co-Dydramol and ORAMORTH in the night because of the pain. I’ve expressed the frustration and pain with my work coach but get nothing back. Seems the system dose not work for - half the people like me who do need help but cannot get it - if I stopped work like I was told to do- I would have lost all my clients that I have built up in last 5 years- and if my claim was declined then I would have no clients to go back to work for …. It just dosnt work ..

Hi @Wendysara1996 I'm so sorry to read this. I can't imagine what it'd feel like to have worked so hard to build a business, and now have to try to balance that with the pain.
It is important to make sure you're ok first and foremost ❤️ It seems like the amount of work you have is causing you pain. Is there any potential to take somebody on to manage the workload? Or, maybe speak to another company about taking over some of your clients so you can reduce your time working and make a new UC claim, but you still keep some of your clients.
Only you can decide what's best for you. It's lovely you care so much about your clients. I just want you to make sure you look after yourself as well.
Best wishes,
Holly.
