Im just after some advice please.
My mam is 67 and gets the state pension she dosent get any other benifits.
Will she get the winter fuel payment?
She has not had any letters or anything to say she will get it.
Thank you
As she only gets state pension, then she is not entitled to the winter fuel payment I'm afraid.
Ok thank you
Hi jason,
Octopus energy is offering winter fuel payments of £50 £100 or £200 to any pensioner not eligible for the government winter fuel payment because they don't receive Pension Credit.
Ok thank you ill check that out. Thanks again 😀
Octopus Energy customers I mean..
I can recommend them for all sorts of reasons. When I recently changed to a fixed 12-month contract ,the unit prices fell for both fuels! There is no early exit fee on this contract.
They offer free energy sessions and credit for reducing use when the grid is overloaded. I am not tech savvy but find their website very accessible and clear.
That's good to know thank you. I think my mam is with British gas at the min but will look into it. Thanks
