Hi I'm Brig!
hi I’m new here, I thought I would explain my condition I suffer with (FND) Functional Neurological Disorder, I do t know if anyone knows what this is but it is a minefield of different things that you can suffer with e.g. seizures, pain, anxiety, dizziness, bad gait, walking problems, and a load of other things, it is apparently caused by the nervous system gone wrong, they sometimes describe it as a computer the hardware is fine but the software has gone haywire, it’s still very confusing for me and I have suffered with it since the year 2000, finding support I have found extremely hard as it’s not a well known condition, so when you approach doctors etc. they all just tell you there is no one in the area that can help, I was told I have this condition then given a website to go on to read about it and sent on my merry way, it’s extremely frustrating trying to find help.

Heya @Brig10 and a big ole welcome to the community.
Thanks for telling us a bit more about yourself, we always like to get to know the community a bit better. 😊 It sounds like a tough road that you've been travelling, I'm sorry to hear doctors have been so dismissive. Have you spoken to anyone at FND Action? I'm wondering if they could point you in the direction of a specialist who would listen to you more?0
