Lwrca
Hi everyone
I've had my decision letter of lwrca 7th January 2025 which is in my favour, however I'm wondering about payment. I put in my first sick note July 2024 and have been on going ever since my current note runs out 18th January 2025. I've asked in my journal of uc on the 7th in regards this but no reply. Can anyone please let me know as I'm confused. Thank you very much.

More information is needed before I can advise.
2/ What date exactly in July did you provide your first fit note?
2/ what date do you usually receive your money each month?
3/ Does your UC include any Transitional Protection?

Hi, my sick note started 12th of July I usually get paid 24th of the month. I don't know what transitional protection is

Transitional Protection will be on your UC Statements, if you get it.
If you live with a partner who already gets LCWRA, no extra money will be payable.
Assuming there were no gaps in Fit Notes, none that were backdated etc:
June/July: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
July/August: AP 1
August/September: AP2
September/October: AP 3
October/November: Eligible for LCWRA element.
By my calculation 2 months LCWRA element are owed, if LCWRA hasn't been added to your next statement, then it will be 3 months.
You'll receive a letter on your Journal when money owed has been calculated, with confirmation of the amount. It will then be paid within several working days.

Can I please just check that 12th July was the actual date you provided that first fit note?
If you provided it later than 12th July it will be that date that's counted because they won't accept a backdated fit note.
