Can i get a Housing costs backdate / and 1 bed rate
I declared a change in rent on the 5th of December 2024 as I moved into a new property I paid £325pcm before and now the rent is £650pcm so I declared this and then uploaded evidence I uploaded it 3 times 2 times they said it wasn't clear the third time they verified it but that was only today 10th of January my assessment periods is 18th to 17th will I get a back date? Also am I entitled to the one bed rate due to being on pip daily living thank you.

If the 5th December was the start of your tenancy agreement and that was the same date you moved into the property then yes any extra money will be paid from assessment period 18th November to 17th December. This means that from your payment on 24th December your rent would be for your new property.
If you're privately renting then your housing element will be based on the 1 bedroom rate of Local Housing allowance. You can check the rates here.
Those rates will be weekly ones so to work out the monthly rate you times the weekly rate by 52 and then divide by 12.

Thank you for the information on the 24th of December they still hadn't changed it as they hadnt verified my Costs by then so should they back date that month thanks.

Yes.
Once verified you'll receive a letter on your Journal confirming they underpaid you, and the amount owed.
It will then be paid within several working days as a separate payment.
