unwanted feelings

As someone with autism I don't expect to have friends or lovers at any point, but the pangs for belonging remain like a constant ache. Some days the heartache is unbearable and I would rather delete these feelings from my being permanently than be haunted by an unattainable goal.
Perhaps "ignorance is bliss" applies in this case.

I don't have autism but can definitely relate to how you feel. I don't tend to dwell on it but an "off" switch would be great, with regards to libido.

Indeed. Not everyone has the right stuff through no fault of their own. If my libido were to disappear forever it would not be missed.

I don't dwell on my feelings in that department so much these days, it is getting easier as time goes by.
