Advice
I have serve OCD and have never lived alone before but as my parents get older I get incredibly sad thinking how things will be when there not here anymore , I also worry about monthly bills and what I need to do .... I was just wondering if there's anyone out there that could help me understand what a full set of bills are to run a 3 bedroom house without a mortgage and without being to personal maybe what the combined total is each month... Thank you

Hi @Danny123 I hope you're doing ok today? I can appreciate this, I share this worry about family members getting older. Do you have any other family if you don't mind me asking?
I think your question is very much based on circumstances (where you live, how many people are living in the house, etc). Unfortunately I can't give you any specific gauge from personal experience in this size house. I have found on the internet the national average dual fuel (gas and electricity) bill for a three bedroom is typically around £1,771 according to the energy review website but if you're living alone, I wouldn't expect it to on the higher end of the average scale.
Hopefully there's a member on the forum that's in a similar circumstance and can give you a better idea. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Best wishes,
Holly.

Hi Danny, I suggest asking your parents and having a look at their folders of household bills and statements.

Rough idea for monthly figures:
Council tax - £250
Electric/Gas - £150
Water - £50
Phone/Broadband - £25
TV licence - £15Monthly Total = £490
I agree with WhatThe. You should ask your parents to share this sort of information with you while they're still here. 🙂
