I think I'm getting confused a bit by a lot of this. Also, what I thought was the report I have,I think is the decision makers report based on the assessors notes.Which makes sense why there are errors in interpretation of one of my medical conditions

I'm just curious to know if I should accept the text as the notice or do I need to wait for a paper based notice?

That text is a standard text and they are just reminding you that you've requested the MR.
The assessment report is what the assessment provider writes and then sends to DWP. It goes into a lot more detail than the decision letter would. If you had an assessment it would be known as PA4 and paper based assessments are PA3. At the top of the report it will say "PIP consultation report"

So it's now been just Iver 4 weeks since I had the dreaded "you've asked us to look at our decision"text and still no more news.I am trying to focus on other things and am just literally waiting for the rejection letter now so I can move on with the stress of getting on with the tribunal.A

I've been advised that the medical evidence I sent in is likely to have little baring on the outcome anyway and it's All to do with how any of my illnesses impact my daily life.Interestingly not much of this was covered in my verbal assessment and I feel I am to blame for the paper form I initially sent off which is extremely important apparently ( and obviously now but ny head was in the clouds)

Timescales for the MR decision are up to 15 weeks so you could be waiting a while yet. I agree that the most important part of any PIP claim is the form you fill in. The more relevant information you give, the less chance you have of needing that awful assessment.
I wouldn't go as far as saying you're to blame for being refused. There's so many people that don't even know where to start with those forms. It's so easy for us to just manage our daily life in the way we've all been used to and it's not as easy as some may think it is to think about the help and support we need. Even for myself, it's not easy and I would much prefer to fill out my daughter's PIP forms than my own because I find it so much easier.
If the MR decision doesn't change, try not to be too disheartened because at Tribunal stage they are totally independent from DWP and will apply the law correctly. I believe Tribunal decision stats are around 66% and many of those go to Tribunal with zero points and end up with Enhanced for both parts. The only downside is it's a very lengthy process. Unless you're one of the lucky one's and you're offered an award before the hearing date.

Thanks Poppy.I look back and know that I have to take responsibility for the form as I remember not being in a good way when I sent it back online and I don't really remember much of what I said.Having listened to this former pip assessors advice. He said they don't purposely go out of their way to deceive people or to lie.So I'm taking the view that there has been errors from my side and theirs and a miscommunication in how the decision maker has taken down the information from the assessor and the online report. Its very clear now where I went wrong mysely

I believe My rate should not be enhanced but standard

5 weeks so far waiting since I put in for the M.R.so I could still have another 10 week wait. And initially put in the pip claim in October I think.Since then totally lost the plot and been referred to a psychiatrist! ( well not totally lost but not far off). When this rejection letter comes through from M.R I've no idea how long it takes for getting tribunal.Probably another year

Sorry you're having such a stressful process so far @Jane315STARX, fingers crossed you're not waiting too much longer to hear back. Keep us posted!

Please hang in there, I had my award today following a MR, exactly 12 weeks x
The wait is awful and does awful things to your mental health x if you give them a ring and ask to see what date the decision makers are working on then you may get a little bit of insight on how much longer x
Hope this helps, good luck x

Omg congratulations that is unbelievable.I am not expecting an award as I know roughly 80% of M.R are rejected.I just want them to hurry up and let me know so I can progress to the tribunal as it's just added stress. But very well done to you Xx

Thank you so much xx it's been a bit of a slog x but please try to stay positive I know it's very hard but you have got this, I had a really negative assessment which made me feel worthless!
I complained and it was re done to which I scored 8 for dl and 4 for mobility x the decision maker gave me 8 for both. So it can happen x
Hang in there x

That's absolutely fabulous.Im so pleased for you.I cannot put any optimism into mine unfortunately as I have no faith in the system and it's made me ill.But I very much appreciate your positive words of encouragement X.

So it's been 8 weeks now and I have not heard anything.I have also heard nothing back from my GP or psychiatrist so the system is broken. The worst part of all of this is it's affected my son who seems to be deeply depressed ( I've never seen him like this before) and this exactly what I didn't want to happen. But it's too late now

Sorry they seem to really be dragging their feet over this @Jane315STARX it's terribly unfair. Hopefully they wont keep you waiting too much longer and your son recovers quickly. ❤️
