Looks mean nothing - it's what person is like as a human being.

I would need to read the manual again. As im now invisible, I won't have to worry about my looks; ffs, I don't even have any jeans or shirts in my wardrobe now, only trackies and fleeces!

There are huge amounts of research demonstrating the advantages of being attractive, from making friends to negotiating and getting away with crimes.
But the sword has two blades. Attractiveness can often also result in all sorts of pressures, assumptions and expectations from all sorts of curious people.
A key distinction here is between charisma and attractiveness. Many people find rich, orange Americans to be charismatic and they can access the same advantages as the naturally beautiful. A lot of that is most about mind power and handling it well.
In short I suggest that as with most things in this life, it's about what you make of what you've got.

It's alright being good looking, but if no-one fancies you then it's not so great.
Anyway looks are okay but it's what you're like as a person that matters.
Who do you fancy?
I've always really liked one of my brother's friends and I really fancy Adam Hills.

My husband is good looking due to having a gorgeous smile which makes his eyes shine with it. He is kind and caring and loves people and it shows. That's what I looked for

What's inside is indeed the most important thing in a relationship, but it won't cut much mustard on a dating site! I am divorced and long ago accepted there is no second chance for me. Sad but true!

I’d love to know - or would I? I have a friend who was really slim, pretty etc and tbh she still is. However she’s really struggled with middle age in a way that me and our other friends haven’t. It’s what’s inside that counts and different people have different types. I’d take Stephen Merchant over many of the Hollywood so called hunks. Brains and a sense of humour are really attractive for me - good job my hubby looks a bit like Stephen Merchant and has the humour and brains too - best bit is he fancies me!

I think this is a very difficult question to answer. Though our own culture has does have a form of "conventional attractiveness" this really does change with cultures, generations, gender and more. Even within our own culture individuals can have vastly different ideas of what "attractive" is.
