Feeling low
Feeling so empty inside feel hopeless being on fight and flight for months is so draining I really hope we have some idea of what the future holds and it's not as bad as I think wish had somewhere to escape my mind

I hear you,
as you know The only difference between us is the subject of our worrying, I don't pay attention to the DWP and governments Verbal Horse Manure.
But there's plenty of things I do get seriously ill over.
huge hugs to you

Hope you're doing ok @Catherine21. Are you able to get out for a little fresh air or find something light to watch on TV as a little bit of a distraction.

mentally I'm ok thanks.
It's vital if you can you throw your full concentration into something you love.
for example binge watch a favourite programme or a few films.
close your eyes, breathe deeply and listen to some of your favourite songs etc.

@Catherine21 and @Nightcity I can't stop the terrors. I know that I ought not to waste precious time stressing about what *might happen from spring onwards but I can't stop. I've no family or close friends but I'll try to settle down with a book. I treated myself.

if it helps a consultation in spring will last at least 3 months (judge ruled two too short) then a further month to respond to consultation.
at this point it'll almost be time for their summer recess where the commons don't sit for six weeks.
Then (September onwards) it'll go to a white paper, this White paper goes through more debate, it then progresses to a bill, this bill goes through many stages at which things can be removed or watered down.
when it finally reaches being a law there's a two month grace period before the starting date to allow those affected to adjust.
then there will he slow rollouts and trials.
even at the lowest possible window of speed you can relax for at least 18 months.
realistically this can't be rushed because of the significant risks and potentially controversial inclusions of the plans, therefore various laws, potential court cases and more nervous and sympathetic MPs can kick up a storm.
finally all previous huge changes took over ten years DLA to pip and legacy to UC.
nothings happening anytime soon 😃

@Catherine21 I feel like my life's in limbo.Thing is it's not right in anyones book how we are made to feel. We've done nothing wrong but are made to feel like scrounging outcasts.
I can't believe at my age I don't feel settled, always on edge, really rattled and irritated, scared, frustrated and downright horrified at the mere prospect of what "might" lie ahead.
