Mobility scooter, dog mess on the tyres

This isn't a pleasant subject, but i am really fed up spending an hour+ several days per week, scraping dog mess off the tyre(s) of my scooter.
We all know we shouldn't have this problem, but we don't live in perfect world. It's no joke in winter temperatures, not when numb with cold after a 2 hour dog walk.
I use a combination of a screwdriver, toothbrush, kettles of water, and Method spray. Does anyone have any better ideas, please?
