What should I do? I haven’t been contacted about extending it? Will they end my award if I don’t try to contact them? What should I do ?
Please help me my head is all over the place and I can’t focus properly on all these forms because I just had my second miscarriage last month and I’m very upset I can’t think properly

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know the answer but wanted to just say I'm so sorry for your sad loss. I will be in this situation re PIP in 2027 and stressing already ! When I applied (Aug 22), my Assessment was 13th Dec 22, got turned down, did Mandatory review Mar 23, turned down then Tribunal date March 23 so 18 mths in total. I rent from HA and the money/benefits team their supported me and was knowledgeable. Just a thought in case you're renting. Take care.

Sorry for your loss. I'd advise you to contact PIP to ask them to send you a form. What used to happen with those that were awarded by a Tribunal was DWP would contact you about 14 weeks before.
However, due to the delays with receive decisions they changed this quite sometime ago and they started contacting you about 8 months before the award was due to end.
Your award should continue until a decision is made on your review, this used to apply to those that were awarded by a Tribunal, unless they've changed that now.

I can't find my Award letter, but I think mine ends in 2025, I asked CAB what to do about it and they said wait until they contact you.
Perhaps check with CAB?0 -

Hi @ilovepink97, I am sorry for your recent loss. When it comes to PIP your award will be automatically extended until a decision has been made as Poppy mentions.
You do not need to call to request a review, they will initiate the review process. There are quite long delays right now, so there is a good chance your award is automatically extended. You can request a review earlier if there have been ant changes in your circumstances, such as your conditions worsening, since you were awarded.
