UC Migration from ESA - puzzling note in my Journal
I have got my ID and housing costs all sorted and accepted, as far as I can tell, with a statement on the Home page which reads:
"On 19 February 2025 we will tell you how much you are going to get."
However, in my Journal there is a line item which reads:
Other benefits affecting your Universal Credit
It lists a bunch of legacy benefits including ESA which I am currently on. What puzzles me is at the bottom it say:
"If you are actually getting one or more of these benefits, you must contact the office you claim them from. Tell them you're now getting Universal Credit and to update their records."
The guy at the Jobcentre at my ID interview never mentioned anything about this… Do I actually have to do something here? There's nothing in my To-do list about it…

ESA will already know you've claimed UC.
UC will have asked them for confirmation of your group status.
Plus if your ESA has converted into New Style ESA, again they will know about your UC claim.
You don't need to do anything.

@Kimmy87 Thanks Kimmy, I was thinking it was nothing to worry about. I hope they stop that from happening to other people and making them stressed.
