Rachel Reeves

Rachel Reeves

I think it be better

If Rachel leaves

Before the axe in her hand swings

Into the psyche of the nation

Into the disabled who have taken and taken

All the stick and all the blame

For the state of the country again and again

Forget Brexit forget the Tories

It’s all our fault for being poorly

Keir Starmer pensioner harmer

Here comes Keir flamethrower in hand

To torch all the sick people in the land

And force them into poverty

Cold mould and misery

To save the flailing economy

Will someone please bring Keir here

So I can whisper in his ear

That taking money off the sick

Means they can’t afford to buy sh*t

Which puts the economy in a worse position

Oh Keir why don’t you bloody listen?

A labour government you are not

In fact I think I’ve had my lot

The anger I hear is palpable

And only you are culpable

You don’t care about the the vulnerable

But you may care next election

When on mass you all lose your seats

Because we don’t have enough to eat

Bread and circus taken away

But yet we fight another day

To kick you and your cronies out

We the people scream and shout

We will not take anymore!

The rhetoric from parliament and the lords

We will stand together as one

Until our righteous job is done

To rid the country of blue and red Tories

I hope one day to write my story

Of how we won the battle of wills

Against a government full of shills

And maybe one day in this life or the next

Reeves and Starmer will know how it feels.
