Self employed and sickness

I am self employed on UC. I had an operation end of November which has complications. I had a sick note initially for 3 weeks and then 2 months. I let UC know of this operation before it happened to try and get some help from them to make sure everything was in order but no help. It was a follow up from cancer treatment 5 years ago.
Minimum income floor has still been applied? So money is very low having not worked for 2 months and they still have my minimum income floor at £1200
I now have another medical issue which has caused an ambulance trip and now another surgery date in 5 weeks (sick note ends today for first issue)
now my self employed work if I reopen will be very slow to start and I need to close it about 2 weeks before my new surgery as it takes time for me to make any orders. So with a surgery in 5 weeks I’ll have maybe 3 weeks to try and get a business back up and any income (very unlikely with what I do) is unlikely to be much income at all ie few hundred. Plus I’m still not 100% hence the urgent surgery date.
I’m unsure what to do about UC? I’m contemplating closing and saying I’m now unemployed ( 5 weeks before op and 2-3 weeks recovery after) as I’ll need around 2-3 weeks recovery after this new op.
im sure there is a preferred way to do this im just unsure what. My UC payments these last few months are only covering my rent and most direct debit bills. I’m adding food etc onto credit cards
any advice appreciated
