That’s sounds awful.
Get in touch with someone who can help with domestic abuse and relationship problems for better advice but here are some thoughts.
You can contact your bank fraud department. Set your card to block gambling in your bank app if it allows you to do so.
If you do decide to go to the police you can do it online so you don’t have to deal with them. You can get a crime number which helps to recover the money if you have problems doing so. It is also helpful if you need to protect yourself.
Make sure to block your card and get a new one and change passwords, cards or anything the could have accessed.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. I've been there, and I would definitely contact a domestic abuse service/ woman's aid. I left it far too long, as I thought it wasn't real abuse. It's hard, but it's so empowering to take back some control.
Also, is there a way you can get a second bank account, that he doesn't know about? Just so you have some money and hide the card in a place he can't find? Especially if you can't/ don't want to report them to the police / bank and get the card blocked. No judgement, just stay safe.

Hi @Muppets69, that really is an awful thing to do. As wobblyone has said you can go to your bank fraud department without going to the police if you feel like that is a step too far. You can get them to change the card details and even the bank account details if he has access to them as well. They can also go through the account and put blocks on transactions to certain companies. When I worked for a bank that was not uncommon for us to do. Especially with betting companies.
Look out for an email from us later on. It should not have an effect on your migration. You can explain where that money has gone.
