UC lcwra and pip
Hello all
I have a question someone as been telling me if I get pip along side with my UC and lcwra that my benefit cap well no longer be there and that UC can increase my monthly payment is this true or not sorry for the random question

I believe the benefit cap will be lifted, but there is no specific payment under UC because you get PIP.

Thank you for the reply if it gets lifted then can you get other benefits? I know this looks like greed but I'm going to become homeless soon and my housing cansal not willing to help me I be like the other plus 30 people on the streets and in my condition I can't handle it

If your UC includes the LCWRA element, this will exclude you from the benefit cap, even without a PIP award.
UC has replaced all other benefits apart from council tax reduction so there's no other benefits you could claim other than PIP that would increase your income.
