What to list in the PIP Conditions section

Hello 👋

I've been looking on the Benefits and Work list of conditions and their success rates for PIP.

I've already listed six conditions that I have, but I've noticed that I have some of the other conditions on the list that are a result of the ones I've already listed.

I'd rather not go into detail, so I hope you understand what I mean!

Is it worth me adding these as separate conditions in the first section, or should I just mention them within the criteria sections as part of the condition that caused them?

Thank you for your help!

If you have a diagnosis then you should put those down. If you don't have a diagnosis then you shouldn't list them. Not having a diagnosis doesn't mean you shouldn't given them information about how your conditions affect you. PIP is not about a diagnosis, it's all about how those conditions affect you.

Hi @Aitchvee, I just moved this over to our PIP category for you 🙂

Many conditions are comorbid and interact with one another. So if you are diagnosed with a condition that has been caused by another condition that you have also been diagnosed with both should be put down.

I hope that helps, please do let us know if you are unsure about anything!
