LCWRA payment

Hello I've submitted my first fit note on 1st of October. My assessment period is from 11th to 10th and paid on 17th. Does it mean that I will get first payment on 17th of February?

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
Assuming there were no gaps in your Fit Notes, no backdated ones etc:
September/October: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
October/November: AP 1
November/December: AP 2
December/January: AP 3
January/February: Eligible for LCWRA element.
17th February: First LCWRA element paid*
If they don't have time to process the decision before your next statement, you will be owed one month LCWRA element.
Money owed is calculated & paid separately. You'll know this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal. The money will then be sent to your bank account several working days later.
*If you have Transitional Protection on the claim, it will reduce by the LCWRA amount.
*If you have Carers Element in your name on the claim, LCWRA will replace this as the same person cannot get both.
*If you have a partner on your claim who gets LCWRA, no money will be paid as within a couple the maximum number of LCWRA elements is 1.

Hello that's response I've recieved from them. Can someone explain it to me please? Why first payment after 4 months not 3?

The waiting period is three full assessment periods.
Often the assessment period that you provided the Fit Note provided n doesn't count, because it's classed as a partial AP.
Were there any gaps in your Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?

Yes but fit note was provided on 1st October. So three assesments rate from october/nov,nov/dec and dec/january. Assesment periods are from 11th to 10th

Looking at the dates it's too early for your February statement to see if LCWRA element has been added?
I don't claim to be correct all the time but UC staff are unfortunately well known for giving incorrect advice.

Based on the information you gave kimmy is correct with her advice and first payment would be 17th February. This is because UC is paid 1 month in arrears and first payment starts FROM assessment period 11th Jan to 10th Feb, with first payment being the end of that month… 17th Feb. No LCWRA element is owed.
Can I please just check that it was definitely 1st October you provided that first fit note and that wasn't the date on the fit note itself? It's the date you provide it that counts, not the date on it.

Fit note was provided on 10th of October, date in fit note was 1st. So I think it still should be February because new assesment started on 11th of October

Yes, first payment would still be 17th Feb, providing there were no gaps an no fit notes were backdated right up until the decision was made.
You haven't received your statement for this month yet so you'll need to check once you receive it.
