Although I don't usually watch the BBC One show, I was told to last night because they had a Watchdog report on Green Power Mobility, a company with which we currently have ongoing issues.

On the 28th of August 2024, my wife ordered a model called Fastest, she ordered it with additional items.

Captain Seat

Additional Key and Remote Controller

At no point did they make us aware that by upgrading to the captain seat, the topbox was no longer an option. That meant there was a delay in sending the scooter. The scooter finally arrived on the 10th of October 2024: It looked different from what was advertised. There wasn't a top

box. We were not informed that upgrading the seat meant losing the top box, so a basket was installed instead. The paperwork was in the basket, which was wet, destroying all the paperwork. The paperwork that had survived had the wrong information. We were informed that the Canopy would arrive in two weeks, but they were currently out of stock.

The paperwork for the scooter, including the certificate of ownership, was ruined either just by being wet or by having the wrong information on it.

After many emails back and forth, they refused to change the basket for the as-advertised topbox (the keys came with a topbox key).  

The replacement paperwork didn't arrive until November, which meant we couldn't get the scooter registered until then, which meant it was just being stored and unable to be used.

The 03rd of February 2025 someone finally arrived to fit the canopy, PROBLEM, somehow they sent the wrong parts, we've got to wait another two weeks.

 

The company have moved from York to Stockton-on-Tees.

Has anyone else had issues with this same company?

    I didn't catch the show last night, I'll have to give it a watch on catch up. But sorry to hear you're having issues with them, that sounds incredibly frustrating.

    It would definitely be interesting to hear whether any other members have had bad experiences too.

    Hope it all gets sorted soon, I bet you can't wait for it all to be over after all that palaver!
