Neurology

I had an appt. yesterday with a neurologist, i have to have another MRI in a few months to first of all rule out MS. He thinks the balance condition i have is something called PPPD, so at least i've got some kind of name put to my symptoms……kind of!! If anyone on here has balance, co-ordination problems, any dizziness caused by a vestibular issue in the first place, it would be good to talk to you, i've struggled to find anything on-line re. these problems, hope everyone is having a good day so far……🙂

Hi @Starman, I'm afraid I don't have the same condition but I just wanted to reply anyway to give your post a boost and see if anyone else has similar experiences.
It's good that you're starting to get to the bottom of your symptoms. Have they given you any treatment options or will you have to wait until after your MRI?

Hey Rosie
Thanks for your reply. I have to discuss with my GP medication options when they have got the consultant's letter, apparently anti-depressants can help with this, so i'll see what the doc offers me!! Thanks again for replying…..🙂

That's promising, hopefully your GP can come up with something to help control the symptoms a little 😊
