@Catherine21 I'm seriously hoping it's true. There's not a whole lot of info out there as of yet. So we will see.
But The Telegraph must know something we don't, they aren't ever exactly on our side.
Let's just wait and see if anymore comes from it.
I've been into Buddhism majority of my life.
I find it peaceful, even if sometimes I can't get my mind to slow down.

Is this to good to be true ???
Yes, just another useless report published in something called Parliament Politics. It says this -
Officials have affirmed their plans for a public consultation on the proposed welfare changes in the spring, assuring that the targeted financial savings will remain on track.
With the reforms now scheduled for April, concerns have been raised that Ms Reeves might need to increase taxes again or make cuts to essential public services.

Liz Kendall pressured to halt £3bn reform proposal
Perhaps The Telegraph bot misinterpreted this heading from a random website which sounds important but isn't!
Nothing has happened.

I love the way Helen whatshername acts as though it's a BAD things that unqualified JobCentre employees won't be allowed to make decisions about people's health instead of actual professionals.
How thick could you get?

@Grissom123 oh can't bear her (Helen Whately I think). 'Spitting Image' would have had a field day with this lot, don't think they were producing any more as it cost millions. We could do with the humour though !

Its like you dont want to get your hopes up to good to be true as we are so used to being abused

Oh no its not true then

yes it's true to a certain point. she's apparently withdrawn any wca changes for now, however the pressure needs to stay on to get them dropped permanently, that's why taking part in consultation is vital.

. Hi Doglover. I thought about contacting my MP about it but I'm in two minds really. I did contact him once about an animal welfare issue that's close to my heart. I eventually got an email back about frequent flying! Not a lot of interest to the person who can't even get into her garden now. I'd love to have seen the face of whoever got an email about greyhound racing! Some time later I got a reply about trophy hunting. While I disagree with it I'd not contacted him about it. I think I must have been filed under animal rights supporter.
I used to see my local MP in a nearby cafe when I used to meet friends there. So if he wanted to call in and visit me I'm not far away . I'll even give him a free coffee. And a biscuit if he asks me nicely😁.
Much as I'd like him to wear my shoes for a week I really don't think he'd listen.
