LMCRA clarity needed please

Hello,
I was moved over to UC late last year and I'm still a little unsure of things.
My assessment period is 16th to 15th and my payment date is the 22nd of the month.
My first sick note is dated 27th September and there's no gaps.
I was informed on 8th February that I have LCWRA.
I was hoping someone could tell me if the following is correct;
I believe I have to wait 3 full AP's the first of which would begin 16th October to November, November to December then December to January. Does that mean I'll be paid later this month or next month.

Assuming there were no gaps with handing in Fit Notes, none that were backdated etc:
September/October: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
October/November: AP 1
November/December: AP 2
December/January: AP 3
January/February: Eligible for LCWRA element.
22nd February: First LCWRA element paid*
If it's not on your next statement then 1 months LCWRA element will be owed. They might not have had enough time to process the decision.
Money owed will be calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least. You'll know this has been done when a letter is added to your Journal confirming the amount they owe you.
You'll then receive the money into your bank account several working days later.
*If you have Transitional Protection on the claim, it will reduce by the LCWRA amount.
*If you have Carers Element in your name on the claim, LCWRA will replace this as the same person cannot get both.
*If you have a partner on your claim who gets LCWRA, no money will be paid as within a couple the maximum number of LCWRA elements is 1.

Thank you for confirming that and for replying so quickly. I do have transitional protection and the carer element. Between them it looks like I'll get £28 extra a month 😄 better than nothing though.

Is the carer element in your name?
If so I unfortunately have bad news.
The carer element will be removed and your Transitional Protection will reduce by the LCWRA amount, leaving you worse off.
There have been many people affected and an Upper Tribunal hearing took place in October, the outcome of which is not yet known.

No problem! I'm always having to make changes to my own posts for similar reasons. 😅
