Hi, my name is Marie19! Need a support worker on my UC review call, what can I do?

Hello,

I’m new here and I’m in need of some advice regarding Universal credit review call, I sent my 4 months bank statement along with my ID, she then booked me in for a call… they requested records from my GP, and they know I can’t do appointments without my support worker, I’ve even wrote it again in my journal, so I attended my last call to which she agreed to reschedule when I can get the support as I became very stressed and my mind just went blank (I have (BPD, ADHD and severe mental health) they know I’ve been in and out of hospital due to it but she keeps calling me and I physically can’t answer and it’s causing me to become unwell, my support worker left I’m now waiting for an adult social worker but I don’t know how long that will be, what can I do? As much as I’d love to be able to pick up the phone and get it done with I physically and mentally can’t!

Hi @Marie19 I hope you're doing ok. I'm so sorry you've not had a reply to this yet. I'm guessing this has now moved on since the original post. Did you manage to get the call postponed whilst pending a new support worker. Hopefully that's all in place for you now, as I can imagine it's been very unsettling. And if you've now had your phone call I hope it went ok for you. 💛
